Information:
The story has yet to be revealed, but it is known from a live action trailer that a major part of the game will take place in Russia and Norway against a fictional ultranationalist force.

The teaser trailer shows possible new elements to gameplay, including invisibility, miniature combat drones used by both Ghost Recon and enemy forces, and what appears to be shoulder-mounted rocket launchers on the Ghost's armor. All owners of Splinter Cell: Conviction will have access to a multiplayer beta of the game in Summer 2010.
